Scholarships
The Wade-Sykes Annual Art Scholarships are open to incoming freshmen who have applied and been accepted to Auburn University, declared art as a major and have demonstrated quality and promise based on submitted work. Four $1000 scholarships are awarded each year. Download application form (.pdf)
Ida S. Wolfson Memorial Annual Scholarship in Art is a $500 award made each year to a junior Auburn University B.F.A. in Art student who has demonstrated financial need, has a minimum GPA of 3.0 and resides outside the state of Alabama. Awards
The Joyce and Roger Lethander Annual Awards in Art are made each spring.
A purchase award in the amount of $1000 is given to a student winner of an annual art competition. Additional awards totaling $500 are made at the discretion of the juror of the art competition. A call for submissions is issued each Fall semester. Download application form (.pdf)
The Raeford B. Liles Annual Awards in the Department of Art are given to two outstanding senior art students, one female and one male, for the purpose of providing art supplies. The student will be recommended and selected by faculty and the Head of the Department of Art based on merit and financial need. The amount of each award is $250. Download application form (.pdf)
Student Achievement Awards in the amount of $250 are given to six B.F.A. in Art or B.A. in Art students. Awards are announced at the opening reception of the Department of Art Annual Juried Fine Art Exhibition in the spring. Download application form (.pdf)
