Vista

At this moment, Auburn University is not supporting Windows Vista operating system yet as some of the key applications, like back-up, do not work with Vista. All IT units across campus are testing and working on making sure that all applications work properly before Auburn implements Windows Vista on a large scale.
In the College of Liberal Arts, a few faculty members have volunteered to test Vista. These faculty members are fully aware that they cannot rely on anyone to back up their data and that Vista is still in a testing phase, making it more likely to break. If a tenure-line faculty member is interested in moving her/his office computer to Vista, please contact Wiebke Kuhn at kuhnwi1@auburn.edu.
