Photography and Digital Arts
The Department of Art at Auburn University invites applications for a tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of Photography and Digital Arts, with appointment beginning August 2008.
Minimum requirements for consideration include; an M.F.A. in studio art; strong record of creative research and the ability to teach traditional photography, digital photography and other digital art fields. Expertise in video and interest in developing curricula are desirable. University teaching beyond TA level desirable. The applicant must be committed to Auburn University's missions of research, teaching, and outreach. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U. The College of Liberal Arts seeks to fill a full-time twelve month Faculty Administrative Position to Direct the Women's Leadership Institute and serve as a liaison between the Institute and the College's Civic Engagement Initiative. Appointment is contingent upon funding.

Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include: An earned Doctor of Audiology degree (AuD), CCC-A, 3-5 years of clinical experience, ability to supervise cases across all types of auditory disorders and with children and adults. Clinical supervision experience desired.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include supervision of graduate and undergraduate students in clinical practice in on-and off-campus sites including direct supervision of student interactions and evaluation of student performance. Some class room teaching a possibility. Clinical Psychology
Auburn University's Department of Psychology is seeking candidates for one position in Clinical Psychology. Starting date for the position is August 16, 2010. Minorities and women are encouraged to apply.
We seek adult clinical candidates for our APA-accredited clinical program who will: a) maintain a high-quality, fundable research program; b) mentor students; c) provide exceptional instruction; and d) supervise practicum students through our in-house training clinic. Area of interest is open but the successful applicant will foster the program's scientist-practitioner based adult clinical track, and aid the department's instructional, research, and outreach missions. Applicants with interest in clinical psychological uses of fMRI and MRI imaging techniques are encouraged to apply. Auburn University is building a new imaging center which will be used for both research and clinical purposes. Position summary: This position is located at Mt. Meigs, AL. The mental health specialist provides clinical services to sex offending juveniles and their families through a residential program. Theatre | Technical Director I/II/III
Job Summary: The individual in this position directs and oversees Auburn University Theatre productions as well as equipment maintenance and management of all day to day scene shop operations, engineering, implementation and installation of all scenic, lighting, and sound elements, drafting of shop drawings, overseeing student crews and construction for two Departmental theatres and five main stage productions each year (as a minimum). Maintain production and rehearsal facilities, serve as master carpenter; and ensure a safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications: The minimum qualifications are a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Liberal Arts, Theatre or a closely related field. Proficiency in CAD, theatrical rigging, carpentry and welding required. Excellent leadership, organization and planning skills will be needed. Theatre | Technical Assistant Director I/II/III
Job summary: The individual in this position plays a key role in the construction and completion of all non-costume design elements for all Auburn University Theatre productions. This individual also assists in meeting technical needs of non-AU Theatre performance groups using the university theatre facility, including staffing and running technical aspects of performances by outside groups. The Assistant Technical Director assists the Technical Director in training students in the proper use of power tools and equipment and helps to promote a safe working environment for students and part-time workers by example. The Assistant Technical Director also assists in overseeing student crews during technical rehearsals and performances, in maintaining production and rehearsal facilities, and serves as master carpenter for a minimum of six productions housed in two theatres.
Min. Scenic/Lighting Design
POSITION: The Department of Theatre at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track position as assistant or associate professor of scenic and lighting design beginning fall semester 2010.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach courses in scenic design, lighting design, design aesthetics, scene painting, rendering and other courses as assigned, design sets and/or lights for departmental productions in an active undergraduate (BA/BFA) theatre program. Participation in student advisement, recruitment and departmental/university committees required. For advancement at Auburn, faculty must stay active in professional work beyond the academic setting.
QUALIFICATIONS: MFA in scenic and lighting design with at least three years university teaching experience and professional experience beyond the academic arena required. We are especially interested in candidates with additional skills in scene painting, hand and computer drafting, rendering, and membership in United Scenic Artists.

Position Summary: This individual will oversee all aspects of costume construction for AU Theatre productions working directly with faculty and guest costume designers to balance design integrity with budget constraints. The costume studio coordinator is also responsible for supervision of students engaged in costume production studios in all aspects of construction (patterning, draping, cutting, and building, tailoring, fitting and dying). Additional duties include maintenance of costume shop equipment and extensive costume storage facility, attendance at all costume fittings, supervision of student wardrobe crews, and maintenance of comprehensive technical, financial and artistic information critical to the costume design process for each production.
Minimum Qualifications : Entry into the applicant pool requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Costume Design or Technology, Fashion Design, or related field; extensive knowledge of costume history, construction techniques and fabrics are essential; must be proficient in all technology related to costume construction.
