Welcome
Welcome to the second issue of Rural Alabama @ A Glance. The online magazine was written by journalism and public relations students in Professor Nan Fairley’s feature writing class (JRNL 3220). Students in the class discovered treasures in their treks through rural Alabama. They also encountered serious problems and meet innovative community leaders dedicated to solving those problems. The students invite you to learn more about these treasures and the folks who are making a real difference in rural Alabama.
