Daniel E. Phillips, Ed.D., CCC-SLP

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Ed.D. Samford University).

Dr. Phillips teaches courses in the area of adult speech disorders, dysphagia, and anatomy and physiology of speech. His research interests have been in the area of clinical supervision. He is also interested in voice disorders and speech, voice, and swallowing problems in Parkinson’s disease. He has worked in acute care and rehabilitation as well as private practice. He taught for seven years at a small liberal arts university before coming to Auburn. When asked Why Auburn? He responds “I am here because I love working with and helping individuals with communication disorders, I love teaching students how to help those with communication disorders, and I love Auburn.”
