PROFESSOR and ASSOCIATE DEAN (Ph.D.,1979, University of Tennessee).
In addition to administrative duties, Dr. Pindzola continues to teach within the Department. Recipient of several teaching awards, Dr. Pindzola alternately lectures students in fluency, voice, and anatomical aspects of communication. Her research into fluency and voice disorders has resulted in the publication of more than 30 journal articles, commercial voice and fluency programs, and 2 textbooks. Additionally, she has been invited to lecture in the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Pindzola is active in ASHA and has twice served as Vice President of the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama.
