Speech Audiometry Assessment
The speech audiometric evaluation currently includes word recognition testing, speech reception thresholds, and sensitized speech (filtered, compressed, speech in noise, etc.). Speech audiometry is currently used for evaluation of a) hearing sensitivity, b) discrimination and c) site of lesion testing.
