Department of Communication Disorders

Screenings are conducted at local Head Start facilities in late August and early September. Individuals are screened for hearing, speech (articulation, fluency and voice) and language (expressive and receptive). The hearing screenings are supervised by certified and licensed audiologists, while the speech & language screenings are supervised by certified and licensed speech/language pathologists. Graduate students in both audiology and speech pathology may participate in either hearing or speech/language screenings.
