Research and Creative Activity
The faculty in the Department of Communication Disorders is nationally and internationally known for their research productivity and writing of textbooks. This page lists selected books and articles written by our current faculty and does not include other venues of scholarly activity such as peer-reviewed presentations, workshops and grants. It also does not include the work of former faculty members who have retired or relocated. It should be noted that not only our faculty publish on a regular basis, but many of their co-authors are students who elect the thesis option in the graduate program. The following works represent some twenty years of research and creative work by our faculty and students and we are very proud of these accomplishments. A high profile in research and creative writing is a major contributor to the high national ranking of our program and increases the visibility of Auburn University throughout the country.
