Karen Hunley (Mortensen)
Karen Hunley is a second-year student in the Master’s in Technical and Professional Communication program. In addition to her GTA position in the English department, she serves as an editorial assistant for the International Journal of Acoustics and Vibration within Auburn’s Department of Mechanical Engineering and IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication within the English department. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Auburn in 2004 and has written for several local and regional publications, including The Auburn Villager, The Montgomery Advertiser, and East Alabama Living magazine.
