Katharine H. Brown
Katharine Brown graduated in May 2009 from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Spanish. While at Auburn, she served as Glomerata Copy Editor, Honors Eagle Editor, and Honors Ambassador. Katharine was invited to be a Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge by Professor Janet Todd, President of Cambridge's Lucy Cavendish College. During Spring 2009 Katharine completed a term at Cambridge, studying Modernism & the Short Story and Practical Criticism. While at Cambridge, Katharine wrote an honors thesis entitled Jane Austen: The Ethics of Appearance, which was co-directed by Professor Janet Todd and Auburn's Dr. Donald R. Wehrs. Katharine is the recipient of Auburn's Undergraduate English Award and the Mildred Enloe Yates Fellowship.
