Susana Morris
Susana M. Morris received her Ph.D. from Emory University. She teaches contemporary African American literature, Women's Studies, and world literature. Her research interests include motherhood, gender and feminist theory, and black sexualities. She is currently completing a monograph about the roles of storytelling and motherhood in contemporary African American and African Caribbean women’s literature, entitled Loosened Tongues: Motherhood and Storytelling in Black Women’s Literature.
