John Hagerty
John Hagerty is an Instructor who has been teaching at Auburn University since 1995. He received his A.B. and his M.A. from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, and his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He has also taught writing at the U.S. Military Academy and at the University of California-Santa Barbara. His main scholarly interests are in composition theory and pedagogy and, in addition to teaching all the core courses at Auburn, he is currently acting as Associate Coordinator of the Composition Program.
