WORLD LITERATURE LECTURES
Each year a renowned specialist in an area of World Literature is invited to present a public lecture of broad interest and to meet with our faculty. World Literature Lecturers have included Sabry Hafez, Professor of Arabic Studies at the University of London, and Sheldon Pollock, William B. JULE COLLINS SMITH MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS
Auburn’s art museum has a strong collection of nineteenth- and twentieth-century European and American paintings and hosts one or more traveling exhibits a year. The museum staff is eager to assist instructors who wish to incorporate visual artworks or art-related writing projects into their World Literature courses.
