  • I am Chairman of the English Dept. at Houston Academy in Dothan. I teach seniors and sophmores. My son Taylor is a freshman at AU; Sarah is a junior at HA & James is a freshman at HA.

  • I am a Projects Analyst in the Office of the Provost at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. My son Taylor is a wireless engineering major at Auburn. My daughter Sarah is a freshman at Birmingham-Southern. My son James is a junior at Homewood High School. I was an English instructor and Chairman of the English Department at Houston Academy in Dothan, AL for 13 years before my return to Birmingham. For 15 months after my return, I was Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of DAXKO, a software company located in Homewood. I also tutored for the ACT and SAT for a number of years.

  • Tommy is currently doing contract staffing work for Lockheed Martin in Northern VA, but lives in Newport News, VA. Prior to relocating to Virginia, he had lived and worked in Atlanta, GA for 15+ years doing corporate staffing and technical recruiting for several organizations. Future plans include either a graduate degree in Human Resources or perhaps a Masters Degree in Education. Tom is married and has twin boys, Jack and Spencer.

  • Molly Smith earned her PhD in English, specializing in Renaissance literature. When Smith was a graduate student at Auburn, she served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (1985-1988); now Smith is the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.

  • I am managing editor of Cottage Living, a national home and lifestyle magazine launched by Southern Progress Corporation in Birmingham. I'm married to Al Schlosser, who I met at Auburn, and we've lived in Birmingham since 1990. When not on deadline, I enjoy traveling and have recently taken up running.

  • I am an Associate Professor of English at Pellissippi State Technical Community College in Knoxville, TN. My husband, Craig Stapleton (class of '89) is a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy. We are active in animal assisted therapy.
