Wiebke Kuhn PhD 2000 MA 1993 BA 2000 kuhnwi1@auburn.edu Still doing the IT thing, but now as the IT Manager for the College. Still having a lot of fun learning new technologies, learning about other areas of research and teaching. The latest additions we are planning on is adding iTunesU to the offerings of AU lectures online and to add student response systems to a group of classes so that all students can participate in a class at the same time. Ian is moving into 7th grade in August and Finn is heading into 3nd grade, playing soccer right now, while Ian is writing stories and swims. July 2008

Erica Leigh Parsons B.A. 2001 elp@bowronlatta.com After graduating from the School of Law at the University of Georgia (and reluctantly learning to root for the Dawgs), I joined the law firm of Bowron, Latta & Wasden in Mobile, Alabama where I am currently involved in civil defense litigation. My cases primarily involve insurance companes and corporate clients, although I do occasionally handle a plaintiff's case. Please don't hestiate to contact me if you are interested in pursuing a legal career. On a side note, I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to Dr. McKelly, Dr. Relihan, Dr. Sabino, Prof. Troy, Dr. Downes and all of the other wonderful professors in the English Department who made my time at Auburn so memorable. Diane Elizabeth Boyd Ph.D. 2002 dboyd@pilot.lsus.edu Fall 2004 marks the beginning of my third year as an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. Here I teach upper-division film and eighteenth-century literature courses and have twice been honored by my students as a "Teacher of the Year." In addition to my teaching I serve as the Director of the Teaching, Leadership, and Technology Center (a position I earned mostly on the auspices of my training while at Auburn--who knew lugging computers around Haley Center could prove to be such valuable job experience?) As the Director of the TLTC I coordinate faculty development events, facilitate our Leadership Academy, and encourage faculty to incorporate technology into their teaching and research. Amy Jo Formby MA 2002 ajformby@datasync.com After a (very) brief stint as a public school teacher, I opted to start a business -- I am the president of Mississippi Aerospace Corporation, located in Picayune, MS. I employ a talented pool of engineers on whose skills I rely heavily for design and drafting purposes, while I design and format the tech manuals, reports, etc., that are required to I survived Katrina, but I haven't gotten a T-shirt, yet. Widespread devastion even in our little town (about 30 miles north of the coast from Bay St. Louis, MS). Many areas in our county are still without power, telephones, water...We really, really appreciate all the donations and voluntarism from neighboring states and other parts of the country. I graduated from mercer with another BA in Southern Studies. Now I am seeking Master's Degree in Southern Studies at Ole Miss. Next I will earn a doctorate in either Literature or History. I got married (stranger things have happened) in June and am now auditing classes at Asbury Theological Seminary (in Kentucky) while my husband works on his doctorate. Alise Chabaud Chabaud Hagan MTPC 2003 achagan@cox.net Since May of 2004, I have been working for the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training at LSU. My titles have included technical communications coordinator, grants coordinator, and currently Assistant Manager for Research, Analysis, and Marketing. I remain active in STC, serving as President of the Louisiana Satellite. In June of 2007, I was awarded the President's Award from the STC Houston chapter. On a personal note, Kevin and I are expecting our first baby in October of 2007! He will be quite the little Auburn and LSU fan. August 2005

Nathan L. Meier MTPC 2003 nmeier2@unl.edu As a Proposal Development Specialist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I help our investigators prepare extramural grant proposals. This requires broad institutional knowledge and a firm grasp of the proposal preparation requirements at federal agencies, private foundations and other funding sources (not to mention the ability to write clearly and concisely). Most frequently I assist with grant applications to the Departments of Defense and Energy, the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foudnation. September 2005

This summer, I worked as the Education Director for the Foley Boys and Girls Club. I also began adjuncting at Faulkner State Community College. At FSCC I teach English 093, 101, and 102. In August, I began teaching English and journalism at Woodham High School in Pensacola, Florida. There is a wonderful group of Auburn Alums that teach at Woodham and they have really helped me transition to teaching high school freshmen. I am also still adjuncting at night. September 2005

Jessica Marie Lueders Thompson MTPC 2005 BA - English (Creighton University) 2003 jessica@bgchamber.com I married Dr. Blair Thompson in May 2007 in Nebraska, and we moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky, shortly after our honeymoon. I am the communications coordinator for the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, handling the communications, public relations and marketing efforts for the Chamber and the South Central Kentucky economic development programs. Blair is an assistant professor of communication studies at Western Kentucky University. We are happy and healthy, with many blessings to be thankful for in the past years. We enjoy exploring our new home state, spoiling our two animals-Alabama the Cat and Montana the Dog-and traveling back to Nebraska, Michigan and Montana to see family and friends. January 2008

Angela Marie Woods Redden MTPC 2004 I have spent the two years since graduation working as a technical writer and editor for Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Aurora. I work on new business pursuits, running proposal operations and providing editing and publications support, and I review, edit, and reformat a variety of documents, including the quarterly division newsletter. I also handle internal communications for our location. My latest project is developing an internal proposal writing course for engineers. October 2006
