In addition to being the Director of the Foreign Language Multimedia Center, Ms. Powell is a member of the Instructional Technology Team for the College of Liberal Arts. In these capacities, she has the opportunity to train faculty and graduate students to use Blackboard, WebCT, Wimba, Respondus, and many other software applications that enhance instruction and promote student learning. Before taking over the Multimedia Center full time, Ms. Powell was the Coordinator of the Elementary Spanish Program at Auburn for three years. She holds an MA in Spanish from Auburn University and is ABD from the University of Kentucky.
