Amy E. Foster (Auburn History Ph.D., 2005), is an Assistant Professor of History at the University of Central Florida. She wrote her dissertation, "Sex in Space: The Politics and Logistics of Sexually Integrating NASA's Astronaut Corps," under the direction of Professor James R. Hansen. She completed a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University in 1993 and an M.A. in the History of Science and Technology at the University of Minnesota in 2001.
