Justin Dubois, media editor for the Encyclopedia of Alabama, has a BA in Creative Arts with a visual anthropology emphasis from San Francisco State University. After a post-college year of wandering through different jobs and projects, he started work with the Encyclopedia of Alabama as an employee of the Alabama Humanities Foundation in Birmingham. He joined the editorial staff at Auburn in July 2006.

Justin is an observer/participant of the arts, an avid visitor to the out-of-doors, decent fisherman, amateur vintner, and fan of bicycles. He also likes to solve mysteries in his spare time.
