Department of History

Rodney J. Steward received his Ph.D. from Auburn University in August 2007. His dissertation, "David Schenck and the Contours of a Confederate Identity," which was directed by Dr.Kenneth W. Noe, is a contextual biography of North Carolinian David Schenck. His manuscript is currently being revised in preparation for publication. Dr. Steward is serving the department as a visiting assistant professor.
