Tommy Brown received his B.S. degree in Secondary Education from Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia. He received his M.A. from Georgia Southern University in 2003. Currently, he is working toward his Ph.D. in history, focusing on the American Civil War. He is also exploring the possibility of minoring in Archival Studies.
