B.A., Bachelor of Arts in Music (Performance Option)
The Bachelor of Arts in Music (Performance Option) is an undergraduate degree in music performance. It involves music courses, university core courses, and electives in Liberal Arts that can lead to am optional minor in some area of Liberal Arts. B.M.E., Bachelor of Music Education
The Bachelor's Degree in Music Education (B.M.E) is a 4 year professional degree leading to teacher certification in all grades (N-12). Students select an emphasis in either instrumental (CNMI) or choral music (CNMV) and follow slightly different curriculua. Music Minor
The minor in music performance is available to students in all degree programs. The focus is on performance in a specific instrument or voice. M.Ed. or M.S. in Music Education

Specialist in Music Education (Ed. S.)
The Specialist in Music Education degree is designed for educators who have a Master's Degree and wish to enhance their competence in music education. The Ed. S. degree is considered a terminal degree. For more information, contact Dr. Kim Walls, coordinator of Music Education.
