Prospective Music Education Majors
- Make sure that you have applied to and been accepted by Auburn University. This can be accomplished online at http://www.auburn.edu/admissions/
- Contact Dr. Kim Walls, coordinator of Music Education to discuss details of your upcoming college career in music education. Her e-mail address is kim.walls@auburn.edu and her phone number is (334) 844-6892. It is also a good idea to check the Music Education Site for news and information.
- Once you have applied and been accepted, sign up for a scholarship audition date online or through the Music Office at (334) 844-4165.
- Declare your major as CNMI (Instrumental), or CNMV (Vocal). This can be performed at Camp War Eagle (Freshman Orientation) through the Registrar's Office via e-mail or phone call at (334) 844-4367.
- Make good use of your summer before entering college by preparing yourself for freshman year. This means practicing, contacting your private studio professor, and preparing for freshman theory.
