Prospective Non-music majors
The Auburn University Department of Music encourages non-music majors to take part in its ensembles. There are scholarships available for students in all majors.
- Make sure that you have applied to and been accepted by Auburn University. This can be accomplished online at http://www.auburn.edu/admissions/
- Decide which ensembles interest you. A listing of the ensembles available for credit can be found here.
- Check the auditions page to see if there are any scholarships available for participating in that ensemble. Remember, the Tamblyn Scholarship is open to all majors in all ensembles, but it is highly competitive.
- If an audition is required for the ensemble in which you are interested, contact the appropriate office or ensemble director to arrange the audition.
- Sign up for the ensemble when you register for classes. (This can also be done during the drop/add period)
