Prospective Music Performance Majors

 

  1. Make sure that you have applied to and been accepted by Auburn University. This can be accomplished online at http://www.auburn.edu/admissions/
  2. Once you have applied and been accepted, to the auditions page to sign up for a scholarship audition date online or through the Music Office at (334) 844-4165. SPECIAL NOTE for VOCALISTS: In order to be accepted into the degree program, all BA students must pass a vocal audition. All students who wish to audition for the BA in vocal performance should audition on the dates provide for scholarship auditions whether they wish to audition for scholarship or not.
  3. Declare your major as MULA. This can be performed at Camp War Eagle (Freshman Orientation) through the Registrar's Office via e-mail or phone call at (334) 844-4367.
  4. Make good use of your summer before entering college by preparing yourself for freshman year. This means practicing, contacting your private studio professor, and preparing for freshman theory.
