Application Info

Dear Applicant to Auburn’s MPA Program,

Thank you very much for your interest in our MPA Program. To apply, you need to provide the following six sets of materials:

 

1) Fill out the formal application on line at our Graduate School's web page; www.grad.auburn.edu

 

2) Send two official copies transcripts for all your University work to the Graduate School:

3) Send official copies of GRE scores to the Graduate School as well

 

4) Have three letters of recommendation sent to our MPA office:

Ms. Denise Smith
Office Administrator
MPA Program
8030 Haley Center
Auburn University
Auburn, Alabama 36849

DO NOT have the letters sent to the Graduate School.

 

5) We also ask that you provide a Writing Sample, which can be a copy of a paper that you did for an undergraduate course. This can be mailed to the MPA Office, but it is probably easiest to send it as an e-mail attachment to Ms. Smith at smitdlo@auburn.edu

 

6) Finally(!), we ask that you provide a Statement of Intent, which should be a short letter indicating why you wish to pursue an MPA degree. This can be mailed or e-mailed to Ms. Smith.
