Order graduation check no later than...	12/19/08	5/9/09	8/10/09	12/18/09
Submit disssertation draft (pdf) via e-mail to GS and submit Dissertation First Submission Approval form (paper form signed by major professor and all committee members and designating outside reader) to Grad School. Deliver draft to outside reader in reader's preferred form (paper or electronic).	2/20/09	6/8/09	9/21/09	2/22/10
Submit Form X scheduling dissertation defense (signed by department chair and major professor)	4/10/09	7/13/09	11/6/09	4/12/10
Hold dissertation defense	4/17/09	7/20/09	11/13/09	4/19/10
Submit final dissertation to GS electronically, submit Form Z (paper formsigned by major professor, committee and outside reader at conclusion of defense) and Electronic Thesis/Dissertation Final Approval Form (paper form signed by committee chair and committee members after dissertation is finalized) to the Grad School	4/27/09	7/27/09	12/4/09	4/30/10
