Best advice for prospective students:
Ask lots of questions! Try to find a program that fits you in terms of not only the course offerings and research areas, but also one where you like the surrounding area and think you will get along well with those already in the program.
Favorite thing about Auburn, Alabama:
I love that Auburn still feels like a smaller town in a lot of ways, but has more cultural activities, shopping, and restaurants in Auburn and surrounding cities than you usually find in small towns.
