Best advice for prospective students:
Everybody is nervous during interviews. There will be students that might be more qualified and there will surely be students that are less qualified than you so don't worry about the other candidates, make sure that the school is a good fit for you. Talk to the graduate students because I have found that they will be completely honest about the program. Whatever school you commit to, take advantage of any free time you have because there are periods in which free time is few and far between. Have a good time.
Favorite thing about Auburn, Alabama:
Well I have lived here for 6 years now so I consider myself to be somewhat of a professional on this topic. If given the privilege to continue your education at Auburn, you will discover that this is the friendliest town on earth. People will go out of their way to help and in my experience faculty genuinely care about your success. The town itself is rather small but has grown immensely since I have been here and is conveniently located close to Atlanta, GA. Game days at Auburn are a wonderful experience as well.
