Best advice for prospective students:
Choose your major professor wisely because you will be spending at least an hour a week with this person for the next five years of your life. Make sure that you can envision yourself having a positive working relationship with them, and that they have similar ideas about how you should be balancing your time during graduate school (i.e. research v. clinical v. teaching). It helps to chat with the graduate students who are working with your prospective major professor to get an idea of what their experience has been.

Favorite thing about Auburn, Alabama:
The cost of living is amazing, and the graduate students are very welcoming to new students.
