Dudley McGlynn

F. Dudley McGlynn was born and reared in the Kansas City area of Missouri. He has been a career participant in the behavior-therapy movement within clinical psychology and his career stops have included Mississippi State University (1968-1979), the University of Florida (1979-1987), the University of Missouri-Kansas City (1987-1990), and Auburn University (1990 – present). His part-time and long-term consultant posts have included the Mississippi State University Counseling Center, The Mississippi State Penitentiary; chronic pain clinics in Florida and Missouri, and the editorial boards of seven journals. Twice married and divorced with four now-adult children and three grandchildren, Dr. McGlynn is also an old movie enthusiast.
