Angela J. WareInstructor Angela J. Ware is an Instructor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work at Auburn. She earned her Ph.D. in 1998 (Sociology) and M.A. in 1996 (Sociology) from American University in Washington, DC. Her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology is from the University of the District of Columbia (1992). Dr. Ware is formerly the Vice President of a social science research firm in Bethesda, Maryland. Her primary teaching interests include gender issues, minority relations, popular culture, women’s studies, and introductory sociology. Recent research efforts involved minority health and cultural competence studies and program evaluation of early childhood education initiatives. |
