The Bachelor of Arts in Social Work

The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work offers a major leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work. The Bachelor of Arts in Social Work degree is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. A person with a degree from an accredited institution is eligible to take the examination for licensure as a baccalaureate-level social worker (LBSW) and apply for advanced standing in social work graduate programs.

As stated in the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics and consistent with Auburn University Equal Opportunity Policy, we the administration, faculty, staff, and social work program:
